I received my Bachelors at Northland College in Wisconsin and my Masters of Arts in Counseling at Mars Hill Graduate School.

I have seven years of experience working in the Mental Health field. Before starting my private practice I worked in the Dominican Republic with severely disturbed adolescents and then gained a broad experience base by interning at Seattle Mental Health, where I lead Bi-polar Groups for men and women. Through my work in a Spanish speaking, third world country (Dominican Republic) I gained a love for different cultures, a desire to have experiences outside of my comfort zone, and an awareness of how people see the world different than myself.

I went into the mental health field because I enjoy listening to people and helping them to grow in very practical ways. Past clients have stated that I am insightful, caring, and open to listening when my clients talk about very dark places in their lives. I am not easily offended or turned away. I enjoy humor and I love to laugh with my clients. My wife is a mental therapist as well and I enjoy sharing an office with her. I am dedicated to constantly learning by participating in supervision, being a part of a consult group, and attending post-graduate trainings on psychiatric emergencies, treating borderline personality disorder, domestic violence, and sexual addiction.

I am dedicated to providing the best type of therapy for my clients. Go to Services to learn more.

I am a member of the Seattle Counseling Association and the American Counseling Association.

Drench yourself in words unspoken
Live your life wth arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
